Node Editing Undo-ing Steps

I’ve been away from LB for a while. In Node Mode I am finding the Undo function is working differently or now working at all.

Win 11 After the updates 1.4.0.(1 thru 3) - (Win problem or Update problem or Win11 w/Update - - or me)

Simple line. In Node I can grab a midpoint and bend the line. Then Ctl+z and the line will revert to straight. Same line… Midpoint insert a node, break the node, grab one midpoint node and move it away from the other midpoint node. Ctrl+z will not reverse that step (or the step before)

Draw triangle. Convert the triangle in order to edit the nodes. Break a corner node and move one of the lines away from the other. Ctrl+z (undo) will not reverse that last move.

In the past I could perform the triangle example and ctrl+Z until the triangle was as just first drawn.

When in Inkspace, Excel, Word and other programs the Undo works just fine to include all previous changes.

I am at a complete loss as to why the difference. Sure do need help.

Do you click off the node before undo? Won’t undo while still selected.

I jumped back on LB to give it a try. Just a quick test and that seems to be the issue. Huge Thanks.

I don’t recall having to click off a node in the past. Thx.

This is a change in behavior related to the ability to select multiple nodes for edit.

Is there somewhere I can look to get details on these behavior changes (and other changes). I do read ‘fixes’ when the releases are made.

I have noticed several operational changes to actions. Understanding the changes will improve my use of LB.

Best place to look is the News page where release notes for each release and other development news are published. If you haven’t been keeping up and several seemingly small releases can stack up to quite a few changes.
