OK so a NEW problem.. If i do a set laser position.. at the bottom of the work in LB and on the piece..OK in the correct place. NOW when I burn it.. it is on the other side of the piece?!??!
I have reset the machine and LB.. Burnt stuff yesterday…Any thoughts on what happened overnight? LOL
Post a screenshot (not a phone pic please) of your entire Lightburn screen with your project loaded and the laser window visible.
What exactly do you mean by set laser position? Assuming you’re using the Ruida controlled laser from your profile, you can set the origin from the controller.
Looks to me like you have an origin issue. Change to absolute coordinates and the lightburn workspace is a direct representation of your laser bed. This video may help your understanding of origins.
Yes I know about that… But, How can it be an origin issue when it switches height and orientation?
If I move the proof it does not change in the laser.
It is like the laser is “ stuck” in that program. It will not accept the “new changes from LB.. IDK how to describe it. I reset the laser power off the laser. same thing.
Im using a Trocen controller and this happens to me (sometimes) when I have another laser program other than lightburn open. Normally I would just close the program I am not using and have to restart the laser and that clears it up. Not sure what other programs you have that may be open if any and how they could affect it.
