I get to step 7 and it just won’t capture? Actually it did capture once if I had the circles in ‘vertically’ - as shown here:

I had to replace hinges on the lid and the alignment is way off now (struts replaced too) and so I’m going through this… I get .28 and lower scores until here. The ‘vertical’ picture was .66, so I tried again…
Any thoughts? Yes, the lights around the sides of the bed are bright, but I put white paper in front of them to mute the glare…

I have only one light near the camera, no reflections and good score.

I got it to work. Printed the circles on thicker paper so it did not get shadow/reflected through. My laser/camera are now super aligned - the camera adjustment is just .5mm and if I take a picture of what I just engraved I cannot see any ‘burn’ - just the text in the laser! So cool.
