Hello all.
I have a 900x600mm machine and it doesn’t like to cut the farthest corner, it never did cut well there. The bed is leveled, the laser is aligned but just won’t happen. Do the smoke interfere the laser path between the mirrors?
Hello all.
I have a 900x600mm machine and it doesn’t like to cut the farthest corner, it never did cut well there. The bed is leveled, the laser is aligned but just won’t happen. Do the smoke interfere the laser path between the mirrors?
The assumption we all make is that the laser arrives correctly assembled and properly aligned. In some cases, both assumptions are wrong.
Go through the whole mirror alignment process, take good pictures of the manual pulses on the targets at each mirror, and upload them so we can look over your shoulder. The pulses should be centered on each mirror at both the near & far positions of the head, with nice round spots showing a good beam shape.
Assuming () you do a good job of (re)aligning the mirrors, that should solve the problem. You may find the machine suffers from the “fourth corner” problem, but we’ll solve that when you verify the overall alignment.
