After updating from 1.2.00 to 1.3.1 the laser will not frame.
I’m use Mac Book. The Ruida controller is KT332N.
I have an OMTech 80w red&black.
I have reached out to OMTech and they said everything is working fine and it must be the update from light burn.
Is anybody having the same issues?
TIA.
Hi Craft, I use the same controller on a 60Watt Omtech laser and have no problems with framing. Can you elaborate on your problem a little more, take a picture from your LightBurn with a subject you cannot frame, even better a .lbrn2 file with this problem.
When I try to frame the project straight from lightburn it will only frame to first point.
If I send it to the controller and frame it from laser display it works.
The problem I have is I use a lot of different files and it would be a nightmare to run it that way.
I didn’t have this problem until I updated to new revision but I try to go back to my original lightburn it dose the same thing.
I’m going to try to upload video of what is happening.
Thanks
Video won’t work here is the picture.
A quick way to rule out a possible error is to send a small test file lbrn2 with the observed problem, if that file will not frame properly with me either, we can rule out the machine or data transmission.
For video, use YT and post a link.
I have tried that also. I’ve also tried a new usb cable but no luck.
Thanks
???
try sending a file with the problem up here.
I’ve actually had the same problem with my own laser for years. What model of Ruida do you have on this machine? Please send a picture of the control panel interface as well as the unit in the side of the machine so we may identify it.
Here is my controller and board picture.
I also have a 60 w laser newer one ordered in
December but not having any problems with it.
The board inside it is a RDC6442G-B
which I have ordered one like it to try on my other laser.
Thanks
It is the same controller (KT332N) and control panel that is on my OMT 60Watt. My offer to test your problem file still stands.
Thanks for the offer.
I have 3 lasers 2 with the KT332N. I having the same problem with both lasers wit the KT332N.
I have ordered a new board to replace it.
