When selecting several overlapping circles and using offset on this, you get funky effects…
I do understand the complexity, you may want to add a switch / selector that provides some options when multiple objects are selected:
- offset each object individually, as if you had selected them one-by-one
- offset and merge shapes
- offset, merge and delete inner shapes (basically look at the outer contour only)
but it could get pretty difficult
but what it does now is something in-between.
