Old Door Creaking

I have a Longer Ray5 20W and when it moves it sounds like a old creaking door, It only seems to do it when the laser moves to the right, Anyone have any ideas what this could be? Yes I cleaned the rails so there is nothing in the track. Is the belt to tight or to lose? I dont know, Also it came with a air assist nozzle and I broke that and cant seem to find a replacement so if anyone has any suggestions on where I can get one I would apprciate it.

As for the noise, you’re better off taking a video of it. Could be anything without anyone being able to see it.

Have you tried Longer support for the air assist? I had an issue and they corrected it immediately. You can also print one if you have access to a 3d printer. I can give you the stl that I used.

I have a video of it but it wont let me upload it here.

Please, can you leave a link to the video so that people can watch it?

I did not know I could put a link to the video in here but I attached it, Sorry it took so long

Hello!
Your video as restricted access permissions. Please change those permissions so we can access it.

Did that work?

Hi Ed,

As far as I can tell from the video, your belt is too tight.

It should be possible to pinch it together lightly here:

I’d also recommend checking for any loose screws and cleaning the three wheels on the rail.

Yeah its way tight, Can I oil the belt or just the axels?

Don’t oil the belt. But you can use oil on the bearings.

Loosen the belt a bit by undoing this screw:

The axis should be moveable by hand with minimal force.

Sorry for my late reply.
Yes, as you already realized by @Aaron.F replies.
Did the belts create a kind of talcum powder on top?

No it did not, After each use I blow it all off,

Some belts are coated with a protective slightly adhesive material that turns into a white powder with use. Couldn’t it be this material in contact with the bearings that generates this noise?
Loosen the belts as already suggested and see if that solves the problem.

Will do thanks everyone for the help.
