My old hard drive can’t be fixed light burn was on it. How do i install it on my new computer. also does it still consider it still only on computer or is it considered my 2nd computer
Well, that is no fun. No fun at all…
Might suggest you visit our License Portal (← Click this), login and release the key from your old computer. This allows you to allocate one of your seats to this new computer. Download and install as you normally would.
Grab the latest here: Download / Trial – LightBurn Software
Once installed, visit the ‘Help’ menu, then copy and paste your key into the ‘License Management’ page.
We cover this in our documentation, worth review.
How do I release the key seeing I can’t even use my old computer, it will not even let me log in computer read “unrepairable”
With your new computer, visit the License Portal to release any previously allocated seats. If you look at the documentation link I provided above (License Management - LightBurn Software Documentation), this is explained in detail using step-by-step instructions.
Are you encountering issue with the process described there?
Just got my new computer up and running so I’m trying to get light burn installed 1st. Will try what you suggested also I “think” I wrote to key down when I first installed it on my old computer looks to be about 46 characters.
With the new system up and running, open a browser window and visit the License Portal. This is where you can see the key, copy from there, and as mentioned, manage the allocation of your seats for that key. I might do that first. Then download and install LightBurn and you should have the license info available at that time. This is why I suggest this process.
