can you please advise me as to how to shut off the beeping on my ortur lm3 20w laser?

Would help immensely if you described the beeping

Each beep code has its own meaning, so without knowing what the beeping exactly is hard to tell

THink about beeping as morse code

    LONG short short ---- repeat Is SD card missing

Where do I get the SD card?

well wait, is the beeping i described what you getting?

If so, in the box, you have a USB reader, that has a tiny SD card reader in it
Remove it → insert in motherboard besides boot/Reset buttons (from the inside)

dash dot dot

I know nothing about SD cards so can you please tell me exactly what I need?

It comes with machine, search for the USB stick, its inside it
EDIT (or should!)

I found the SD card but it looks more like a SB connection then a SD card and it doesn’t fit into the provided slot.
I sent a “ticket” to Ortur about this and am waiting for a reply.

the card is the little black thing inside it
you must REMOVE it and only then install it

I’m sitting here laughing at myself but I’ll be 80 years old next month and haven’t a clue with modern technology!
