OLM3 cannot be started

One day I turned off the machine, the next day it won’t start. No one touched the machine. LightBurn tells me in the console:

error: 8
The Grbl ‘$’ command cannot be used if Grbl is not IDLE. Ensures smooth operation during the job.

The machine whistles and does not start. A reboot didn’t help either. Apparently it requires entering a command I don’t know.

I assume this means the machine is not homing correctly. Correct me if that’s not the case.

Check that the power supply is working correctly.

Can you run this command in Console several times and return the full output?

?

Can you take a few picture of your belt tensioners on the Y axis?

Thank you, the problem is solved, the error was in the wrong connectors, after the replacement everything is OK.

Thank you for letting us know.
I’m not certain I follow you with wrong connectors.
Did they change the wiring? I wish I could see what you see.

The main cable was faulty, I replaced it and it was OK. I replaced the cable with a power chain. OLM3 20W

So replacing this cable worked? I used my OLM3 last weekend. Did a tightening of the belts today before starting up and the error 8 message appeared. I can’t even get it to home as it is saying The GRBL $ command cannot be used if GRBL is not IDLE. We cleaned the contacts for the cables thinking that maybe they were a little dirty, but that didn’t help, we also loosened the belts back up a little, thinking maybe they were adjusted too tightly. Just wondering if your laser is still working as it has now been 29 days since your last post.

OK, everything works since changing the cables.
