Omtech fume extractor, 300w, 4 stage help

Hey friends. I picked up a Fume Extractor from omtech, but i can’t for the life of me figure out what model it is. I have only used it for a few hours total, but the alarm is telling me there is a bit of an air obstruction. I have swapped the cotton filter, and vaccumed the pp filter under it, but i’m still getting the alarm. So I was shopping for new filters, but can’t find any based on the info I have. The website also has them listed as out of stock. Filter size is 14.9x10.9x2. I’ve searched for that, and haven’t had luck there either. I could use some help after several hours of trying to problem solve this. What are y’all using? And what model is this? The manual doesn’t say and there isn’t a sticker I can find. Frustrating.

In any case, thanks in advance for any help y’all can provide.

Suggest you email OMTech and ask them about the model… Usually it’s on the invoice.

They have a forum, similar to this, and you could post there. That’s where they do the most troubleshooting.

I think i have the same one with a different brand name. Its an VEVOR XF250U.
They all take the same filter set. And Omtech sells the filters.

Here’s a link to the filter set:

You can also buy just the primary or charcoal filter separately here.

The stage one filter is just 1/4 microfibre and you can make your own. I bought a roll but i dont remember where

If it’s pulling air through a long or narrow tube, that may confuse the sensor.

As far as anyone has reported here, there are no sources for those filters: no cross-references, no weirdly named sketchy Amazon sellers, nothing. In particular, trying to buy replacement filters from the seller of the overall box results in radio silence.

Which the sellers do not make obvious …

See my post above. All this is available from Omtech or Amazon.

Glad to be proven wrong!

Found it. Here’s what i bought from Amazon to save money and make my own Stage 1 Filters. The HEPA and Charcoal Filters you can get on Amazon or from OMTECH. So you should be all set

No response back from Klistoga on our suggestions. An update or a thank you for the help would have been nice.
