hi i have a Omtech maker 60W gantry laser and have bought the core Lightburn (that is what the first owner used). i am trying to get it up and am being told that is a DSP and need the pro but have talked to other omtech users and have been told that it should be working with the core Lightburn. i da have an email into the support line but would like to get this working in the next couple of days??? can any one help me
If you have a Ruida controller you need the PRO version.
is there a way around that it was being used on the core before we bought it.
The trial version I believe unlocks all versions to try.

A Core license key, will not allow you to connect to the RuiDa DSP control system like that used in the OMTech Maker.
To connect to that machine with LightBurn, you must have a Pro license key.

If it was a trial version, they support all types of lasers supported by Lightburn.
OMTech makes/sells lasers that use grbl, which is the core version. If you have a galvo or dsp, you need the pro version.
Either you were running the trial version or it’s a grbl machine. From the looks of things it’s a Ruida, which is a dsp requiring the pro version.
