I just changed computer (from a PC to a Macbook Pro). My laser now won’t fire when i use the Fill mode but do when I use Offset Fill and Line. I exported my preferences from my last computer to the new one.
The working light turns green like it’s supposed to do when a job is in progress but the laser doesnt move at all. It moves when I start the job from a part a few steps ahead of the engraving
I have an OMTech Turbo 737 70W with a Ruida Controller.
Maybe your file is too close to the limit of the working area. Scanning or filling mode needs some extra overshoot travel distance for decelleration and accelleration of the laserhead when it moves from side to side. Try to place it a little closer to the mid of your working area
Hello thank you for your answer, my working area is 750mmx400mm and my test file (just a filled circle) is dead center far from any borders. Also I’ve tried moving it all around an still it doesn’t work. It has always worked before in many many different configurations.
All the line work and the offset fill is working normally.
