So my PSU has died and Omtech is telling me it will be a moth to replace it. I cant wait that long so I went looking for a replacement but didn’t find any drop-in replacements. Everything I found has a different pin layout. What could i use until the replacement arrives?
There are high and low voltage power supplies in your laser. The MYJG50W is the high voltage or laser power supply (lps).
Which one have you determined has failed and how?
The high voltage has failed. It was confirmed by Omtech. Im not sure how. It was running then I heard a pop and the beaker for the room tripped and when I reset it the unit would turn on and I have control over moving the laser head but it wont fire with the test button on the ammeter or the test button on the power supply.
