I am using 2 laptop for lightburn. The first one in my workshop with Linux Mint ,a dedicated old laptop (that’s why the linux ) to my laser machine.
The second laptop in my house with win10 and Linux mint (It’s a dual boot machine).
I have already lightburn on win10. Can i also have lightburn on the linux in this machine?
Is there a limit in how many times i can activate and deactivate the software?
After the last announcement from LightBurn, you can use your license on 3 computers and all the machines (of the same type) you want.
So if i install also on the Linux OS of the dual boot laptop is this the third computer or is still considered as the second since is the same machine?
My second question, Do i have a limit on how many times i can activate and deactivate the license?
I “want to think” that a computer with a dual boot system is “seen” as 2 machines. Easiest way to find out is to try it
Regarding the number of activations, if you deregister a computer you can use this license on another computer, I have not experienced any limitations while experimenting with different Linux distros on different computers.
PS stick to the supported distros, it won’t cause any problems.

Minimum computer system requirements¶
LightBurn will run on Windows 7.0 or later (32 or 64 bit), MacOS 10.11 or later, or 64 bit Linux (Ubuntu 20.04 or Fedora 36, anything else may not work as intended). Ubuntu users unable to upgrade beyond Ubuntu 18.04 should download version 1.2.01 instead of the current version.
You are right! It is considered as a 3rd machine!!!
