Operating over two different OS

Hi there, just wondering if you can operate Lightburn on Mac machines and on Linux machines using the same licence key. I have a licence key that allows up to ten different devices to use LB.

How the LightBurn license works

We get asked this a lot, so here it is: You pay once, the software will work forever as long as you have your license key. The key lets you install on up to two machines, and it can be easily moved if you get a new computer. If you need to install on a 3rd machine, we’re happy to update your license to allow it, at no cost. The license key has an expiry date - a year from when you first activated it. Thanks Rick. I am a teacher and have bought an Emblaser 2 for the school. I use a Mac and the school computers operate on a Linux OS. I just need to be able to work on my Mac using LB at home so i can prepare stuff for lessons and practice. Thanks again.

The only thing that might trip you up is fonts, which can occasionally render slightly differently between different OS’s. Make sure if you have files with text objects in them that you have the same fonts installed on both systems, or you convert text to paths before saving for use on a system that doesn’t have the fonts you’re using. Otherwise there’s no problem.
