We get asked this a lot:
You pay once, the software will work forever as long as you have your license key. The key lets you install on up to 3 machines, and it can be easily moved if you get a new computer.
The 1 year of updates that comes with every License Key has an expiry date - 1 year from the moment you first activated it. When this updates period expires, you can still use LightBurn, you just don’t get updates anymore. If you download a version of the software released after your license expires, it won’t work, and you will need to downgrade from the Releases Archive.
You can continue to receive all updates for an additional year by purchasing a renewal at the current cost of $30.00 USD. We want to keep the software priced low enough so pretty much anyone can use it.
