My missus is quite the artist. We even have a spare bedroom for her as an ‘art room’. It’s full of artsy stuff. Full.
She wants a way to organize her little paint bottles. She saw something on Etsy she liked. I decided to go one better and make her one.
4 trays of 32 each, 128 total, bottles in a rolling carousel configuration. Made from 5mm Poplar and Luan flooring plywood. Each tray is 30" long.
Did all of the design work in Lightburn. The dang parts even fit very nice and snug!
I’m using ball bearings on all rotation points. Made doublers so the bearings fit nice and snug in their mounting points. 3D printed axles.
Nearly a full 4x8 sheet of plywood was used. 78 laser cut parts. 10 3D printed parts, 10 bearings, 8 screws. Many hours of drawing time. More than a couple whoppers of mistakes made.
