Hello, so sorry if this has been asked, I am sure it is a very dumb and amateur question, but I am trying my best and pulling my hair out in the process.
I have a 410 x 950 work space and have my project screen orientated the same. In my mind if I have the letter A on my screen it should burn that letter exactly as seen, when I use the view option it shows the letter A however burns from the bottom up, that’s okay. I run and my A burns at 45 degrees . I have moved my home position to every corner and nothing works. I just want to be able to have the machine burn in the orientation that I am seeing on screen!
A few things you might want to check
a) 1.6 has a new feature that allows you to rotate the screen/Greed of lightburn to match your machine orientation if you turned it on its side because being extended
b) could you double click your layer and take a screenshot of your layer settings?
Is the base line of the shape correct but otherwise slanted, like a reed in a high wind? Or is the entire shape proportionally/geometrically correct but rotated?
The speed in the pic above is absurdly, unattainably, fast. I would call 6000 mm/min approaching the fastest useful speed for your machine. Normal engraving range would be approx 2000-5000 and normal cutting speeds would be 100-1000. Ballpark guidelines. There are more caveats and exceptions than rules. Lol.
THANK YOU!!! These guidelines will be very helpful! The screenshot was just opened and shot, I wasn’t using these settings for speed and power. I updated this morning and then couldn’t do anything. So I completely removed everything from my computer and re-installed, gave the machine a different name and just like that it is working properly now. Good grief!!! THANK YOU guys so much!
