Orion water chiller

I have a ORION WATER UNIT COOLER: RKS752J-MV-FU1. Initially, the tank was dirty with impurities as the water was left in the cooler for long time and unused. So, I decided the flush old and dirty water through the drain port and flushed couple times with tap water and finally replaced all with Distilled water according to the chiller specifications.

But now, I have a problem starting the discharge pump. It shows ‘E03’ meaning discharge pump thermal overload relay. I connected both inlet and outlet and the bypass valve but still error comes out. Is there still impurities causing this problem in the water circuit. I am not sure but inspection shows none. Anyone can help me to troubleshoot this problem

Hello!
The pump is probably stuck or seized.
Depending on the type of water pump (I don’t know what it is), this often happens after prolonged equipment stops.

So, do I have to replace it? Is there a cheaper solution

It may not be necessary to replace anything. It is likely that it will be necessary to disassemble the pump from the chiller to check.

When the pumps get stuck due to lack of use, they usually come loose simply by turning the fan by hand. A small fan on the back of the pump is covered by a lid. This lid has to be removed to access the fan. The need to remove the pump from the chiller is precisely to allow this lid to be removed. There is usually no physical space to disassemble this lid with the pump mounted on the chiller.

But I could be wrong, I am not familiar with the specific chiller and I have not even seen photos of it or the pump in particular. Any information you can provide will help those who want to help.
