Is there a setting somewhere to turn this off or adjust sensitivity?

Sounds like you’re not using the latest firmware. The latest firmware disables flame sensor by default and fixes some other issues that are worth upgrading for. Suggest you run the upgrade.

Note from the release notes:

  • Flame Sensor Default State changed from Enabled to Disabled. Users can Enable Flame Sensor by typing $261=70 in console window and press Enter.

You can install the firmware yourself if you follow the instructions on the Ortur site.
