Ortur Laser Master, Lightburn, and a Mac

Complete laser noob. Mac user. Have an xcarve and use it/CNC software quite a bit. Even there, not using a separate program to send gcode. Not sure how that works.

Was kicking around buying a Ortur Master Laser Engraver. Again, using a Mac. Here’s my question:

Can I use Lightburn alone to both create and control the Ortur? Would really rather not download and use Windows if possible. From what I can tell, LaserGRBL doesn’t work with Mac and is the software they use.

Yes you can create your designs , set your cut and engraving parameters and send it to the Ortur laser all from LightBurn on a MAC.
