Need help, I’ve tightened the belts but it’s burning rectangles when I try to burn test squares. What is the likely cause of this issue?
A loose setscrew in the belt pulley on the Y axis motor!
Secondary problems seem to be overly tight (or loose!) bearings in the roller wheels and, on some occasions, a floppy laser head mounting.
The fundamental idea is to make sure there’s nothing loose between the motors and the laser beam, which requires really close inspection.

I figured it out. It was one of the axises Off with stepping. So I reduced the amount of steps and now it’s burning accurately.
