Ortur Laser will not turn off between shapes and burns holes

Hi.
I am new to the laser world and have recently picked up a Ortur Laser Master 2.
I have searched online and on these forums for answers already but none of them seem to help.

My first 2 test burns were of my logo and worked great.
I am trying to cut a grid with some numbers on some wood to be able to place items in the correct positions.
Problems I am currently having is the laser will not turn off and seems to stay at the same power output between cutting shapes.
Eventually the laser stops moving after a couple of minutes and just burns a hole until I unplug the power cable. Lightburn continues to run.
This also happens once the job is complete, the laser stays on and burns a hole. Laser did not do this on the first 2 test runs.
If I leave the USB cable connected and reconnect the power cable, the laser stays in its last position, turns on and burns a hole.
I have to disconnect the USB cable to make the laser turn off.

The Mode on the first 2 test runs was set to Fill+Line.
The above grid pattern is set to Line.

Only settings I changed in Lightburn was changing the Units/Grid settings to Inches/mm/min under diode and adjusted the grid spacing.
I also enabled Enable Laser Fire Button and set its Power to 0.10%. When I tap Fire, it burns a hole and I can only turn it off by unplugging the USB and power cables.

I have cleared out the preferences folder in LightBurn and that has not helped.
I have upgraded the firmware on the Laser master 2, that has not helped either.

Any help on this would be great.
My settings are below…

S-valve max = 1000

You have $32=1 set already. I suspect you have a faulty laser module, so I would open a support ticket with Ortur to evaluate it.
