I’ve recently bought an Ortur LaserMaser 2 machine, but I’m having quite a lot of issues with it…
It seems cutting 3mm plywood is almost impossible - I managed to do it on occasions, but it’s not consistent - even if I see videos of people with the very same machine who customarily cut plywood.
Am I doing something wrong? When I did manage to cut through, I set the laser to 200 mm/min, 60% power, 15 passes, but right now I’ve tried with the very same parameters and no joy.
Looking around on the Internet, I’ve seen that the $33 value is normally much higher than the reported 250 of my machine - could that be the problem?
What parameters should I use?
