See if you can raise your entire frame to get the ramp up to 100 mm. Then try aiming at the middle of the ramp with the focusing column underneath your lens mount. Hopefully what you’ll see is wider lines at the ends with a strip of a thinner line in the middle. That will give you the effective laser column that you can rely on.
