Hi. Its me again. I can’t get my Ortur LM3 to work every time I try to open or import an image and click start I get a message come up saying “There is a problem sending data to the laser. The machine may be busy or paused”. Can y
anyone point me in the right direction to solving this issue. Thank you in advance.

Please inspect the USB port of your Ortur (take a picture if you like)
Also when you power it on, does computer do the usb sound?
thanks for your reply Gil Araujo.The usb port looks clear and no it doesn’t make a noise when powered up
Right click windows menu > Device manager.
Expand ports section then power on the Ortur,
Does a new device appears?
can you take a picture of the USB port on the ortur - unplugged? Right inside it
Out of curiosity, did you just added these extension feet?
USB port seems healthy
Yes I made and fitted them.
Any chance you used too long screws and the screws are touching the underside of the pcb
Remove them screws and retry please
The machine has been working for over 18 months with them on so it shouldn’t be a problem. The issue has only just started

Did you check the device manager?
Yes and the machine did show up.

What Com port is being given to it
No Double ports right?
On LightBurn - same port selected?
Ok so COM3, on lightburn you have the same port selected in front of Devices correct?
If so what output you get of console?
