Im using a LM3 with a 10 w laser and having issues with X axis cutting deeper than the Y axis. This happens on wood, leather and cardboard. It also happens when using the Materials Test in Laser Tools.
Any help would be appreciated !

The dot sizes on most diode lasers are not symmetrical
X and Y are normally of different sizes.
Meaning they will perform slightly different
In this case your dot size is a little rectagle. Thinner on the X. thicker on the Y
You nee to adjust power for the thicker dot side
Thanks Gil…
That explanation makes sense.
I was hoping for an adjustment to make the X and Y axis equal, but now that I know I can adjust accordingly.
