i bought a ortutu pro mk2 s2 serval years ago play with it then quit back and forth over the years i never thought it cut as good as it should upgraded to lu2-10a ortur laser site i got it from is now down but never thought it cut as it should it has the leg on the side for adjustment the only air i use is the one onboard the laser just got back around to playing with it agin and it cuts worst 1/9 plyeood have to go 5inch pre min. at 100 percent power i change a lot of my setting years ago when i was engraving tumblers made a copy and reloaded then i going to try and show my machine and device setting if someone could tell me if thats the problem this form has fixed every problem i have had thanks for being here
Focus can make or break any laser. Maybe try some focus tests to eliminate that possibility.
you know I did the ramp focus test yesterday and the focus does seem to be off looks like it needs to be closer than the alignment leg is setting it will play with today what could cause it to change like that do I need to check anything else?
Check the lenses on the laser. They should be perfectly clear.
while i was playing with it i notice some side pla on laser mout with just a little wiggle lase goes from blue blob to a tiny beam i tryed to post video of it but guess i had save file wrong or just don’t know what i’m doing as ild man i have that problem i can’t expand this so i can see what i’m typing
Good enough for me to understand. 
Now THAT makes a difference. Get out the tools and fix that. Could be mounting screws loose, or could be gantry (Xaxis) track wheels need adjustment.
It would not hurt to give the machine a full checkup.
ok got my wiggle fixed had been cleaning my lens with glass cleaner someone had said to use alcohol so during cleaning i notice the lens was cracked see picture looked everywhere this side of pond couldn’t find one so order one from ourtur didn’t care much for the price 39.00 free shipping from China which surprising less than 2 weeks i know if they don’t make a buck they won’t be there when you need something but putting it back together notice the inner lens has some bubbles on the inside does anyone know where i can get this lens i’m posting picture of both lens you think these are bade enough to affect the beam i’m thinking they need to be clear to not affect the beam but i don’t have ANY experience in this field
Computer ate my pictures couldn’t find them. Guess i need to know where to buy inner lens if anyone can help
I could not tell if this was a replacement or not. If it is, return it for a replacement.
If not, have you tried it out yet? Obviously it should not have bubbles, but if it was working before then it likely will be okay.
I replace the outer lens the one that has bubbles is inside behind the outer lens replaced the outer does not look like a focal lens do not know if the inner is focal any ideals or where I can buy a replacement other than ortur
Yes, that is the focus lens, The outter one is a protective glass.
Without the lens specifications, like diameter, focal length, and glass composition, finding a replacement from other than Ortur is not very likely. If you know the actual manfacturer of the laser module (doubt if it is Ortur), you may have luck going that route.
Not working I thought I’m in no hurry i’ll slow it down and run100percent done the ramp focus test 100 percent 5mpm it didn’t burn though any where just scorched the top

- What is the output power of your laser?
- What material are you testing on?
- How do you know the focus test was a success, meaning you are positive you found the correct focus height?
- What was the focus height you determined?
- How close was the focus height value compared to what the manufacturer sait it was supposed to be.
- Can you upload the Lightburn (.lbrn2) file that you are using for testing?
Yes i slowed it way down. i’m trying to order the mirror lens behind the outer lens that was cracked there was no markin on it and YouTube said it could go either way it was flat not focal unless someone can tell me the difference.i asked ortur fo a lens replacement they asked what kinda laser machine i wanted , y
The cover plate lens, yes. The laser focus lens which has a curved side, closest to the diodes, no. If you put the focus lens in flipped the wrong way, that can cause your loss of cutting power.
I guess im not saying something right i replace the outer lens the flat one and notice putting it back together the inner lens had bubbles on the inside. Don’t feel bad ortur doesn’t understand me either been trying to buy lens from them they keep asking what machine i want this has been going on since Monday
You are saying it right. Bubbles in focus lens. Ortur asking what machine you want.
Maybe they are really asking “what machine you want lens for?”
Doubt if you can buy the focus lens.
