Ortur vs X-Tool vs Ikier

I’m trying to decide on my first laser.

The Ikier seems to be a solid design, but not much out there for user experience. The live Z sounds useful and the speed and raw power are appealing…but how is the precision and build quality?

X-Tool…meh …their advertising turns me off, but if the product is really good, I’d go that way. Just hype or really worth it?

Ortur advertises a tight beam but the frame is on the very low end of my space needs.

I can’t justify two machines. Can I get something that will cut 1/2” ply occasionally, give me around 17" working area, and engrave/etch fine details like a boss?

If you’re looking for something with a lot of power, from a really good support company, and can cut 1/2+ inch wood and stuff like that, I’m selling my unused, new in box, Atomstack X30 Pro 160W laser engraver on eBay. Check it out…here’s the link: Atomstack X30 Pro

Thanks for the heads-up, but Atomstack now own Ikier. Not sure how the laser engines compare between the two, but I definitely prefer the construction and live Z feature of the Ikier.
