Otur Laser Master 2 Jamming in Y-axis

I’ve been using my machine for a while now without any issue and one day it started jamming and vibrating violently when it reaches a certain spot in the y-axis.
It happens when it’s running a program or simply homing (Even after I disconnected it from my computer). The error message it gave looks like this:

Ortur Laser Master 2 Ready!

OLF 140.

Grbl 1.1h [‘$’ for help]

[MSG:‘$H’|‘$X’ to unlock]

error:9

G-code locked out during alarm or jog state.

On or near line 2040:

Job halted

If I move it up and down by hand, it feels smooth all the way through. I’ve looked under the belts and there doesn’t seem to be blockage.

Can anyone please tell me what might be causing this and how I can fix it? I’d love to get back to my projects.

could you send a few pictures of the Y axis cables and all connections overall

Also if you plug X cable to Y motor does the problem persist?

Wow thank you so much. It was the y motor connection being super loose. I just put it back in properly and now it’s running just fine.
