Overwand key missing on vers. 1.0.0.1 - RESOLVED

Hi, I would like to ask because the overscange function is missing in version 1.001. Or if it is present, where do I find it?
Thanks.

I have no idea what you are asking here. The post title calls it “overwand key” and your message asks about “overscange”. Are you looking for the overscan setting for fills or images? That would be in the cut settings, right here at the top of the “Common” group:

I’m talking about version 1.0.0.1.
The function was present until version 1.0.0.0.
Where it is I know.

What is “The function” you are talking about? Show us what you see with a screen capture.

I have not seen this reported previously, so thank you for this. Investigating further and will report back. Please try our latest and please report back: LightBurn 1.0.02 patch release - Mostly for MacOS users, a few small f – LightBurn Software

Honestly, I prefer to use the stable versions.
Something like that of overscan which is missing for me is serious, because it is indispensable.
I install the new versions after I find them in place.

There is ONLY one place that turns off the entry box for the overscan feature, and that is based on the laser controller you select. What laser controller do you have chosen? (and what type is it?)

Version 1.0.0.1 is installed in a friend’s laser.
80 watt 6040 CO2 laser … I don’t know the code of the board.

If your friend’s machine is using a DSP laser, you do not get manual control over the overscanning feature - it is handled by the hardware. LightBurn shows only the controls that you can use.

That is also why your friend’s machine shows Min Power, and yours does not:

Nothing is missing, and it is not the updated version that is the problem - you are using the software on a different type of laser, with different abilities, and LightBurn is showing the controls that are available to each machine.

When you first posted, you simply asked, “where did this function go?”

You did not mention that you were looking at the software on a different computer, with a different configuration, connected to a different laser. Please include such details in the future - it saves us a great deal of confusion.

Ok, you are right.
Sorry but I didn’t think it was a hardware reason.
Thanks. Resolved
