But if I draw a curve, I have to place it outside the project so as not to machine the straight part…

I found in the settings that you can uncheck the option “Ignore paths outside the project”… So now I can start machining my path outside the project… which is what I wanted…
However, if you wish, I would appreciate it if you could tell me how you would proceed with my drawer project…
