Hi everyone, i have an issue about pattern going offset while cutting. If i have four objects, only one comes out as it should. I have adjusted/tightened my belt on steppermotor, i have made a test with 6x6 squares 100 mm, same distance between them, all came out nice. I have had the same issue a year ago, and found a solution, but i cannot remember what it was :-). Dont pay attention cutting outside the material, that was just a test. Any advise for a frustrated guy?
Please show a screenshot of your entire lightburn screen with this project loaded.
Nothing in your Lightburn setup is jumping out to me. I have a couple ideas though.
Do you send the file to the laser and load it there or do you press the start button in Lightburn? Sending is better, especially with a complex pattern like this.
Sometimes things get messed up because the laser starts cutting as soon as it has enough info and the rest of the file is streamed as it cutting. Sometimes that creates errors.
Another thing is if you have a lot of files in the laser controller it will cause errors. Try deleting some unneded the files from the controller. The simplest way to do this is from within Lightburn. Go to Window Menu> File List. You can select and delete multiple files from that window. On the controller, you can only delete one at a time.
You might have a physical problem with your machine. Load this file, scale it proportionately to fit your bed and run it at high speed with just enough power to get a good mark on cardboard. Any discrepancies from the file will indicate mechanical problems. Upload a photo of the results so we can look with you.
