Is there a way to insert pauses between layers?

No, I don’t think so. If you need to, you can just run one layer at a time by checking or unchecking the ‘output’ box in your layer list. You can also set ‘Cut Selected Graphics’ to on, and only have it do what you have currently selected.

Yes, checking and running one layer at a time will be the way to do it. There is no pause in between layers available at this time.

You could fake it in a couple different ways:

  • Add a layer in between your existing layers with a line at zero power, and 60mm/sec. The length of the line would become your pause time.

  • Add a tiny box on its own layer, at zero power again, and use the ‘Cut Through’ mode in the settings, with the delay specified there.
