Perforation mode..... question

I am useing the perforation mode very often with my 10W Diode Laser with FluidNC and it would be nice if its possibe to adjust the speed of the travel beetween the cut, Lightburn use to travel a G0 command, a travel beetween the cuts with the same speed as the g1 command, would be very nice. this would be very gentle on the hardware from the Laser
If its possible, out of the box, please help

best regards,
Björn

You did not say how much your Cut and Skip values were. But that really does not matter.

There is no specific feed rate for G00 mode; instead, the G00 (Rapid Move) command uses the machine’s maximum speed and ignores any feed rate (F) value provided in the command, as its purpose is to move quickly to a new location when not cutting

If your machine is too jerky, then you can reduce the acceleration value to give it a softer start and stop. However, this will increase your run time somewhat. The GRBL parameters to change are $120 and $121, but I do not know if this applies to the FluidNC controller. No matter what, never change any controller parameters without knowing why and what will happen. You should make a copy of the parameters before changing them.

Yes, at this moment i reduce the max speed of the axes, to controll it

For future readers: Unlike Smoothieware machines, Marlin firmware doesn’t do that. For historic reasons, Marlin uses common code for G0 and G1, which means the “rapid” speed depends on the previous F value.

For (only) Marlin firmware machines, you can set the G0 speed in the Fast Whitespace Scan value:

All other G-Code machines run G0 moves at the maximum speed configured in the GRBL $110 and $111 values. If G0 runs too fast, that’s where you back it off.
