Peripheral displacement of 1/4 or so

Hi, I have a Thunder Nova 35 and the LB 8mpx camera. Post calibration alignment seems great for anything in the central say 12" but on the periphery I have an offset in the horizontal of about 3mm-5mm. Is there a way to increase accuracy on the edges (would it help to change the scale of the alignment image to 200 percent?

Thank you

Scale up the alignment run as high as will comfortably fit in the machine - yes, that helps.

Also make sure you set the Z height so the top of the material is at the focus height before you capture from the camera. That’s important.

When doing the alignment, you have the option to choose material thickness. Do you leave this at 0 if you have a moveable z axis? Is this option only for those systems where the laser head itself moves instead of the table?

Thanks.

This option is mostly for Emblaser systems with a movable Z head where you have to tell the Z how high to run at. For anyone not using Z control, or using only occasional relative moves, you can ignore it. It’s not used by the math, just for positioning the laser at the right height.

Thank you! Amazing software and support.
