We can’t read your mind, so give us a hint… photos of failures or ?
Over burning, as in too hot, incorrect color or selecting a proper dpi/lpi for the image…?

Annealing stainless steel is tricky and material thickness will change the rate of heat transfer.
Find some identical material if possible and conduct a material test.
When I import a photo into light I am not able to transfer the image on Stainless Steel. What image mode should be used

This video is the best for engraving with any laser on any material…
There are no settings, per se… you have to learn what works best with your machine and material.
Fiber also allows you to anneal/oxidize instead of engraving… can’t feel the results… These are on a knife blade…
The mode you use is really up to your taste… I prefer Stucki…
