im having an issue with importing pictures from icloud to lightburn! They used to import now i get a code that says and unexpected error has occured and is keeping you from copying the file then it times out. I uninstalled icloud and installed it again and still doing the same thing what am i missing?
Can you copy first to your desktop, then into LightBurn ?
No it won’t download at all. It will say downloading but won’t do anything then it will timeout. It’s frustrating because it used to work. Pictures in my other folders open fine.when I open my gallery under the picture it shows a cloud but the cloud doesn’t have an arrow showing it’s downloadable so I’m not sure what to do!
That suggestion to copy to the desktop first was exactly right — LightBurn can only open files that are already on your computer. In this case the cloud icon under your photos means they haven’t fully downloaded from iCloud yet, so there’s nothing for LightBurn to grab.
If you right-click a photo in your iCloud folder and choose Always keep on this device, Windows should pull it down properly. Once it’s stored locally (no cloud icon showing), you’ll be able to open or import it into LightBurn just like your other pictures.
Give that a try and let us know if it works.
I will try that and let you know the outcome thank you!!
Well I tried that and it didn’t work. The cloud under the picture changed to two arrows but still doesn’t import into lightburn
