Let me clarify what’s you’ve done, at least during the setup.
How did you come to 9000 steps/rotation? This is a simple setup, might want to ensure you’ve done this.
The test button in Lightburns gui should rotate the driving wheel one complete turn and back.
Assuming you are using the Y axes to drive the rotary?
You’re Y axes acceleration is likely too high. The driving wheels slip if you try to accelerate too quickly. Larger mugs/cups with more mass exacerbate the issue.
Before adjusting anything, ensure you make a backup (saved) copy of the settings from the device settings.
First is to ensure the configuration of the rotary is correct… If so, we may have to look at the controller. I have a 6442g, so they are not the same animal but most of it operates in a very similar manner.
