If this is clear plexiglass, the wavelength of that laser is in the visible spectrum. That means your laser will shine through it, just like air… and do no damage… :frowning:

Might be able to do it ‘indirectly’ but it will be of a lower quality.

Plexiglass is acrylic, but acrylic is not Plexiglass. It’s a manufacturers trade name thing that I don’t need to pay for.

Take care

yes man you are right, which means indirectly in this case, is there a cure

Put something that will heat up from the lasers energy ‘backing’ the acrylic. Shoot through the acrylic and heat up the ‘backing’ to damage the acrylic…

Same idea here…

Good luck…

thnx bro!!!

one more thing… may i cut (acrylic) objects with laser, after graving…

No you can’t with a laser diode module

thnx man, what tool can I use for cuting acrylic 4mm?

there are no tools to use if you want cut it with laser, you need a CO2 laser, otherwise you have to use dremel, or a CNC machine

I use a table saw.
