Pocket operations are retracting to the safe retract height between each plunge. Pocket lift height is set to a lower number but it is seemingly disregarding this number each time and fully retracting above the pocket in between each plunge to a further depth. The rest pocket operation does not seem to have this same issue nor does any other operation. Is there a setting I am missing or is this a bug? I cannot get the preview nor the cut to only retract within the pocket no matter what I have tried so far. Sorry if this is an obvious mistake but was hoping for some insight on the matter.
This is a bug, it’s been logged.
This is fixed for the next update.
Someone else logged a bug where pocket lift was happening when it shouldn’t, meaning it was cutting through shapes that it shouldn’t have been, and fixing that basically meant they weren’t working any more.
As it turns out, handling the “pocket lift” test has to be different for raster pockets and offset pockets, and this is all now fixed for the next update.
