When I go to frame my project, it moves quickly to the point but then slows down to a crawl to frame. It does the same when cutting and my speed settings are 5/50 mm/s which haven’t changed since my last project 2 days ago- also now, I’m getting “running this frame might exceed the bounds of your machine” message when it’s literally the same project layout I was cutting two days ago, in the exact same space.
So far I have:
Updated lightburn
Unplugged laser and restarted lightburn
Double checked settings
Double checked coolant
Checked lubrication on all rails
Checked lens tightness
In the laser panel click “Go to Origin” then click “Show Last Position” and post a screenshot of your entire Lightburn screen with the Cuts/Layers Panel and Laser Panel visible. Also post a screenshot of the Settings Window (Gears icon) with the Units and Grids tab visible and post a screenshot of the Device Settings Window (Wrench and Screwdriver icon).
Take the screenshots with your computer following the instructions in the link and you can drag and drop the photos into your post or use the button with an up arrow in the middle of the toolbar above. Don’t take cell phone photos, they are hard to see ll the details. You need to wait until they uoload on the right before clicking the blue reply button.
