Ports on light burn in use - Algolaser Alpha 22w

I have installed free 30day lightburn on my computer windows 10. I uninstalled it 2 times and reinstalled it on my Algolaser alpha 22w. Now the machine lights is flashing green blue and red and lightburn tells me the con port 34 and 5 is already in use. Please assist

@gilaraujo is the local subject matter expert on Algolaser equipment.

A quick way to get to the port you need is as follows.

Unplug the USB cable from the computer and Launch LightBurn.

Check to see which ports (if any) LightBurn can see. When you plug in the Algolaser engraver, Windows 10 will make a Happy Bonk sound if the USB port is good and the cable is Data-Capable.

When you look for a port in LightBurn the second time, you should see a new port.

Gil will know more about this than nearly anyone here.

thanks @JohnJohn

Couple things i would say, The USB cable is 90º and the direction does matter at times
Plug the cable facing so the cable points to the back to the machine

This said, another way to check is this
Right click windows menu → Click device manager
Expand Ports section (this will list all com ports)

Unplug usb cable from the algolaser machine
Take a screenshot of Device manager
Plug usb cable, and power on machine making sure it homes correctly
Take another screenshot

Post both please

Didnt catch this at first
When you plug usb, and you go check your Disks
Do you see a ALA1 Drive, like a Hard drive?
