Unfortunaltly some water got on my cohesion 3D board today, and while I didn’t see the magic smoke leave, the laser wouldn’t work. I am letting it dry out over night, and will test it again tomorrow, but if it is fried, what is everybody using these days??
What are you running with it, specifically? The Laserboard could be used with more than just K40s, but if it is a K40, I would look at something like a Mini Gerbil 3 MG3 main navigation page
or a MKS DLC32 - you could even run FluidNC on it if you’re so inclined.
It “was” a chinese cheap 60 watt, but all that is left of it is the frame, motors and belt. I did find the gerble 3 and a Monport, I just don’t know what is the best out there anymore. i will look at your other recomcentions, thank you
