"Power supply problem" in console, Laser will not fire

I have a new Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro LU2-10A laser, no more than 10 projects run. Was working 2 days ago, 1 job run and everything was fine. Yesterday I turn it on, to rerun the failure from the previous day, position the laser and frame. The laser moved approx 10mm in one direction and stopped, no fire either. Cycled the controller and laser returned to home, repositioned set origin frame and same response. Opened console to see “Power Supply Problem”. Measured output voltage at the barrel connector and see 24.3V, all connectors are secure, no broken wires. I did notice sparking when plugging the supply connector into controller.
I have attempted to contact Ortur and will wait a couple more days for a response, hoping someone has any suggestions (I have ordered an new supply in the meantime )

Thanks

That is a “no load” reading. If the controller says power supply issue, that is likely the problem.

Thanks Mike, I suspected the 24v adapter might be suspect, rated 3A and so is the 10W laser. I may be on the hairy edge. The replacement supply I ordered is a 5A . Ortur support has confirmed the sparking phenomenon to be normal and believe the supply might be the issue.
