Precision 3d engraving brass

Hello! I am an engineer developing laser systems, I want to share my achievements in the field of 3D laser engraving and polishing. This model is 20x20mm in size, the height of the numbers is 0.68mm, the working field is 110mm, jpt m7e 30w. The machine is diy with many functions. Software is lightburn 2.0

That’s very nice work.

How thick is the brass?

Do you mind posting your information, such as lens length and settings used?

Lens F163(110x110) deep of full model is 0.6mm. Every slice is 1.65um. since lightburn only supports 256 layers, i use artcam to divide the model.

I commonly use 3dslice, but what you describe seems to eliminate that option.

Myself, and I’m sure that others, would be interested in your work flow to produce this type of engraving.

Any chance of enlightenment?

P.S. Interested in your picosecond laser.

I think i might send some files later. First of all your galvo must be perfectly adjusted. I use fullfield galvo correction 33x33 points and very accurate timings. P.s. my picosecond laser now is sold. Its a gztech laser 200ps minimum
