Hi, I have a Longer B1 30W laser and I’ve encountered an issue, as shown in the attached photos.
In the first test (grid), the engraving/cutting is not uniform.
In the second test (circle inside a square), I noticed that the circle is not perfectly symmetrical.
Questions:
Has anyone experienced a similar problem and found a solution? Could this be an issue with the Y or X axis not being perfectly perpendicular? What are the best settings to adjust to eliminate these inaccuracies?
I’d really appreciate any advice!
I’m attaching photos for better visualization of the issue.
When I first set up my Longer Ray5 10W I had similar wavy lines and irregular circles because the two belts for the Y-Axis were at different tensions.
All the best
I have already tightened the belts, but I think they might still be a bit too loose. I tried to make them as even as possible, and it seems slightly better now.
However, could this also be an issue with the rollers?
I was thinking of buying some small spring scales. On Amazon
I wonder how many newtons of tension there is supposed to be.
???
Anybody?
I know I can get the two Y-Axis belts to the same tension any ways.
