ok designed basic key fob, now the design looks good, but when i preview its all outta whack, and it burns outta whack. and this just started. Need some help
A few more details of what âoutta whackâ means to you would be helpful, but at first glance the Line Interval
seems excessively large.
You should run an Interval Test
to determine the proper value for your laser with your setup on your materials, but itâs typically around 0.1 mm.
The lines in the preview might be 0.5 mm apart.
Is this an âimage,â not a vector?
It looks like youâve got unwanted Kerf Offset on the Line layers making up the outer circle and keychain hole. Removing that should put things back into fine whack.
If thatâs not it - please share the .lbrn2 file here so we can take a closer look.
no its is a vector
il check that thanks
That dd the trick some times its the little things lol, ty for the assist
1 more thing how to i get that to stay off, every time i open a key chain the kerf is on?
If youâre opening a previously saved .lbrn2 file (or multiple previously saved files), itâs likely the Kerf Offset is saved to the layer in question in those files. The only way for it to not be on when you re-open is to turn it off, and then re-save the project.
If youâre opening a graphics only file (like an SVG file), you may have the Kerf Offset assigned as a default to the layer itself. To correct that, remove the Kerf Offset and then click âMake Defaultâ in the bottom of the Cut Settings Editor window.
thanks again
