Problems with probing:
When executing Tool Length Probe the head moves to the defined x and y positions (50/50) and the z axis starts to move down to find the base of the touch pad. The speed is set to 10mm/sec.
The first problem is that when the tool touches the base it doesn’t stop immediately but the momentum seems to make it continue downwards for a few millimetres. It’s more like a car braking rather than hitting a brick wall. The second part of the probing - at a slower speed - seems to work properly.
The other problem is that when the probing has completed and the head is returning to the zero position the x movement hits the limit switch with some force.
The machine is Genmitsu 3018
